Frequently Asked Questions
-
GLP-1–based therapy is a medically supervised approach to weight loss that supports appetite regulation, satiety, and metabolic function. Treatment is combined with lifestyle guidance and ongoing monitoring for optimal safety and results.
Our GLP-1 program follows a carefully structured medical model to ensure safety, effectiveness, and compliance.
Consultation → Medical Review → Personalized Treatment → Ongoing Monitoring
All treatment decisions are made by a licensed medical provider and tailored to the individual.
-
Eligibility is determined on an individual basis following:
A consultation
Medical history review
Required laboratory testing
Not all clients are candidates for GLP-1 therapy. Final approval is determined by a licensed medical provider.
-
Step 1: Comprehensive Consultation
Schedule a one-on-one consultation to discuss your weight-loss goals, medical history, and lifestyle. During this visit, we’ll complete an initial screening to determine whether a GLP-1–based program is appropriate for you.
Step 2: Lab Review
Clients are required to provide recent lab work completed within the past 6 months. If labs are not available, we will guide you on obtaining the necessary testing to ensure safety and eligibility.
Step 3: Medical Review & Intake Scheduling
Once your lab work has been reviewed by our medical provider, our team will contact you to schedule your initial intake appointment.
Step 4: Initial Intake Appointment
Your intake visit includes:
Vital signs and body measurements
Detailed medical history review
Education on how GLP-1 therapy works
Expectations, dosing schedule, and lifestyle guidance
Review of do’s and don’ts for optimal results
If appropriate, your first dose of medication will be prescribed during this visit.
Step 5: Ongoing Monitoring & Support
Weeks 1–4: Weekly 30-minute in-person visits for monitoring, support, and dose assessment
After Week 4: Monthly visits to monitor vital signs, progress, and receive your monthly medication supply
These visits ensure your treatment remains safe, effective, and personalized to your body’s response.
Step 6: Six-Month Follow-Up
At the 6-month mark, updated lab work will be required prior to your follow-up appointment. This allows our medical provider to reassess your metabolic health, ensure continued safety, and determine next steps for ongoing care or maintenance.
-
Weeks 1–4: Weekly in-person monitoring visits
Ongoing: Monthly follow-up appointments
After the first month, visits transition to monthly appointments, which may include:
Continued monitoring of vital signs
Progress assessment
Medication dispensing per provider direction
Adjustments to treatment plan as needed
At approximately six months, updated laboratory testing is required to reassess metabolic health and determine the most appropriate next phase of care.
